Lakeland Annual Fishin Trip 2007

Here’s this years Itinerary for our trip this year

9am Wednesday the 11th – leave from side road next to Malcolm Trupps on highway 60
Stop at Westlock extra foods for forgotten supplies ( toilet paper)
12pm – 1 pm – arrive in Lac La Bische and have a hamburger somewhere
Arrive at Lakeland mustering point and head in
Set up camp, relax, supper together.

Thursday – breakfast as a group – head out fishing
Lunch is at isthmus
Fish till 5pm, have a fish dinner at camp, relax or head back out fishing
Hit the hay

Friday – FISHING TOURNAMENT
Breakfast
Head out on to the lakes
Group lunch at the isthmus
Fish till 5pm, head back for a fish dinner more amazing than the night before, don’t worry there will be roughage on all group meals
Fish till you want. The tournament ends at midnight.
Go to bed already

Breakfast
Fish or pack, your choice
Head back to the trucks and organize
THE TRANSFER OF TROPHIES
Head home with your passengers sleeping and you trying to stay awake
Home between 4pm and 8pm
Hot shower and then the WFN network (world fishing network) till your wife sends you to bed

Just some reminders

1. WE are doing meals together, scroll on down to meals
2. Pack as light as possible
3. remember that your eyes are bigger than your stomach - don't think you will eat three time as much on this trip as you regularly do at home. so bring only what you will eat - I'm talking about snacks and drinks
4. There is a cost associated to this trip - As Rod and I figure out the numbers, we will post them.
5. if you are traveling with someone, help with gas for your ride - this includes quads and boats if they will take the money.
6. try to switch out your fishing partners so that we can get to know each other better
7. Help set up the main camp - includes tarps and firewood
8. bring earplugs - you will understand at night - there appears to be a few with deviated septums or fat build up in the nasal cavity. the resonation of the few has the ability to awake the many.
9. on the right side of this website, is the access to the lakeland PDF map. print a copy for yourself - it helps to know where you are going.
